My Approach
I bring a calm, experienced approach to every commission, whether I’m working with a tightly timed brief, a challenging location, or subjects who are not naturally comfortable in front of the camera.
Rather than forcing a formula, I work with the conditions in front of me — the atmosphere, the unpredictability, the elements out of my control — to create portraits that feel natural, thoughtful and true to the person.
Often the details that can’t be controlled are the ones that give magic to the image.
I work with a blend of observation and direction. Some commissions call for a more polished and structured feel with clear direction, others for something looser and more editorial, but the aim is always the same: portraits that feel believable, well judged and a true representation of the person in the viewfinder.
